Week 02


Hello world,

welcome back to Devlog no. 2 of T.B. the crime begins.
This week was very relaxing. Our programmer Elli worked on some bugfixes of the drag and drop inventory, reassembled the UI and got some feedback from our teacher on how to make it even better. Our Artists Lena and Aimee continued and almost finished their rooms - they look amazing already.

Our problems this week were mainly based on a lack of communication. Due to sicknesses, some team members weren't able to properly participate in the discussions and then presented their points of view later on after we thought we had finally come to terms with each other which meant new discussions all over again.

In terms of GameDesign we - again - reworked the backstory for T.B.. Maybe we would find some 'good' reason as to why she is stealing and we thought about making it a 'rearrange this incorrect museum until everything looks fine' - game. After discussing this idea we came to terms that maybe, this wouldn't be too interesting for a player and that we wouldn't be able to integrate a shop then.  So we kept the idea of having a little boss baby that pays Tuya some sweets or item upgrades for her thief services.  F>urthermore there is now a darker backstory for the museum itself and why it is actually pretty messed up. But I don't wanna spoil too much so stay tuned until the final result is published.
